Privacy policy

Effective October 16, 2026 · What changed

This policy explains what information APTRYK LLC ("APTRYK", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers aptryk.com and its forms, the emails we send, and the private pages we share with clients (invoice, quote and estimate links, and the client portal). It does not cover software we build for clients; that is governed by each client agreement.

The short version.

  • We collect what you give us (your name, email, company and project details) and what we need to run the work with you.
  • We use it to reply, to deliver the work, and to keep a record of it. Nothing else.
  • We don’t sell it, we don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t let it be used to train AI models.
  • No advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this website.
  • Ask us any time to see, fix or delete your information: hello@aptryk.com.

Information we collect

What you give us. When you send a message, book a consultation, request a proposal or complete the project assessment, we collect what you enter: usually your name, email address, company, job title, phone number (only if you choose a phone call) and details about your project.

When you work with us. If you become a client, we keep the records of the work: contacts, projects, documents, messages and files you send through your client portal, invoices, quotes and payments. When you sign a document electronically, we record the name you type, the time, your IP address and browser, and a fingerprint (SHA-256) of exactly what you signed, so both of us have a reliable record.

When you open what we send. Invoice, quote and estimate emails contain a small image that tells us when the email was opened, and the private link records when the page is viewed. We use this only to know whether you received it, so we don’t chase you unnecessarily. Your client portal records when it was last opened, for the same reason.

Technical information. Our hosting provider processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the site. We use IP addresses briefly to limit repeated form submissions and stop abuse.

Cookies. The public website sets no cookies. Our internal CRM, used only by our team, uses a session cookie that it needs to work.

How we use information

We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles. We do not sell sensitive personal information.

Emails, calls and texts

When you use a form, we send one confirmation email, and then we reply in person. Emails about your project, invoices and documents are service emails. We don’t send marketing email unless you ask for it; if we ever do, every message will include a way to unsubscribe, and we will honor it promptly.

We call only when you ask us to (for example, a phone consultation you booked), and we don’t send marketing texts. If you ever receive a text from us and want it to stop, reply STOP.

AI tools

We may use AI tools to help us draft and review work, under business terms that don’t allow providers to train their models on your information. A person at APTRYK reviews what we send you. We don’t put client confidential information into tools that would use it for training.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process information only on our behalf and under their own security and privacy terms:

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business (the new owner would be bound by this policy).

Do Not Track

We don’t track you across other websites over time, and no third party tracks you on ours, so we treat every visit the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

How long we keep it

Enquiries we don’t pursue are deleted or anonymized after two years. Client records, signed documents and invoices are kept for as long as the business relationship lasts and then for as long as tax, accounting and legal obligations require (usually seven years). You can ask us to delete your information sooner where the law allows.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit. Access to stored records is limited to our team, through individual accounts with strong sign-in, and sensitive actions are logged. Client portal and document links are long, random and private; we can turn one off or replace it at any time. No system is perfectly secure, and if a breach ever affects your information we will tell you promptly and as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it, by emailing hello@aptryk.com. We reply within 30 days and won’t treat you differently for asking. Some states give residents specific privacy rights; we honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 18 in some places). We don’t knowingly collect information from children; if you think we have, tell us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the effective date above, and for material changes we say so on this page and tell clients by email before the change takes effect.

October 16, 2026: added the client portal, electronic signatures, how we know an email was opened, AI tools, Do Not Track, and how long we keep information; removed a service we no longer use.
